Plus size women have many shopping options. Lots of women love the convenience of internet shopping. In spite of the internet, some still love relaxing with the newest plus size fashion catalogs.
My favorite way to shop is still jumping in the car and visiting the stores.
Here is quick pick list of my favorite plus size stores.
- Lane Bryant: The largest plus size retailer in the US, LB has nice selection of casual clothes including some trendy. Some of the larger stores have good selections of career wear. LB offers one of my favorite lines of intimate apparel. If you get on their mailing list they will mail and email coupons and discounts.
- Cato: This store offers both conventional sizes and plus sizes. The plus size side of this store is great for me, and it's one of the few stores where both my daughters and I can all find clothes. They offer stylish casual attire as well as more dressy suits and dresses.
- Fashion Bug: Like Cato, this retailer offers Juniors and Misses sizes in half of the store and the other half is dedicated to their plus sizes. FB offers a nice trendy selection for plus size teens in particular at affordable pricing.
- Avenue: This store has sharp trendy fashions, but also carries more classic styles for the mature, yet fashion savvy plus size woman. I also love Avenue's jewelry and accessories.
- Walmart: Although not a plus size clothing store, I'm putting Walmart here because their plus size selection has become more timely and stylish over the last few years. If you need plus size casual wear Walmart can provide seasonal pieces that keep you stylish, comfortable, and within your budget.
When I visit plus size clothing stores, these are the ones I visit most often and the ones that I feel give me good selection and value for my dollar.
